Virtual CAP (click link to open the new site) has a new look – and we’ve added some great new features to help you get the most out of the information and resources that have been gathered to promote excellence in Community Action. 

• Virtual CAP’s News Feed – subscribe at no cost – click here and use the link in the yellow box to subscribe.
  • Weekly listings of CAAs in the News from across the U.S.
  • Information about National and State Campaigns to Reduce Poverty
  • The Feature of the Month
  • New Items as they are added to Virtual CAP
• Feature of the Month Alerts
  • Enter your email in the upper right-hand corner of Virtual CAP’s home page
• Search Tips – Use the left-hand menu items to search for information.
  • One approach is to select ALL and then use the sub-category drop-down listing to identify specific topics of interest
  • There are also a number of other search options in the left-hand menu area of the site
• Virtual CAP Tools (found in the upper right-hand menu once a description is opened) – Try the Partnership Tracking Tool and Resources for Collaboration to see examples of these features.
  • Virtual CAP Tools that will allow you to print, save, or download the program you’re viewing
  • Below these tools, there’s a rating scale to help us learn whether or not the information has been helpful
  • You’re also able to view a sampling of helpful items from the description – Program Materials, Program Forms, and Web Links
  • Your Recently Viewed Programs and Your Saved Programs are at the bottom of the right-hand menu area

We’re in the process of adding images that will help you discover useful items in many of the descriptions.
