The Division of State Assistance within the Office of Community Services has just published the following two CSBG IMs:

CSBG IM113 - Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Process for Fiscal Year (FY) 2009 CSBG American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Funds (Tribes)

These IMs outline risk assessment expectations for CSBG-eligible entities, States, and Indian Tribes and Tribal Organizations as part of the CSBG ARRA Risk Assessment process along with timelines for submission of information to the Office of Community Services (OCS) to help guide monitoring and technical assistance efforts.

Technical Assistance Conference Calls

The Office of Community Services will sponsor two technical assistance conference calls on the CSBG ARRA Risk Assessment and Mitigation plan:

States and Territories
Wednesday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

Tribes
Thursday, September 10, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
Thursday, September 24, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

OCS will provide call-in instruction via a Dear Colleague e-mail and on the CSBG website.  Links to both calls will be posted on the OCS website. 

Questions to be addressed in the Technical Assistance Calls may be submitted in advance of the call to Kathleen Norton.  Questions for the September 9 and September 10 calls must be submitted by Wednesday, September 2, 2009.  Questions for the September 23 and September 24 calls must be submitted by Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
