Welcome to “A Financially Healthy Community Action Agency: A Board Member’s Guide.”

This Guide was created with a grant from the Office of Community Services, a division of the Administration for Children and Families in the US Department of Health and Human Services.

The Guide was designed for members of community action agency boards of directors, and of any other organizations receiving Community Services Block Grant funds.

The Guide was created by Mid-Iowa Community Action, of Marshalltown, Iowa, an organization based in five central Iowa counties and providing services in twenty two counties.
