Mobile Assistance Centers for TV Converter Box Coupon Program

Information from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) in the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the status of the TV Converter Box Coupon program


The TV Converter Box Coupon Program rolls out its Mobile Assistance Centers this week, providing consumers with one-on-one assistance in preparing for the end of the digital transition by June 12, 2009. Beginning this month, these traveling vans will visit 28 cities across the country with staff to help consumers apply for coupons and to demonstrate how to hook-up converter boxes. Events will be hosted in the cities listed below.
